Reviewing Eufy RoboVac 11+
The RoboVac 11+ is designed and manufactured by Eufy with a simple purpose in mind. Do a great job cleaning and do it quietly.
Our Eufy RoboVac 11+ review talks about the challenge it faces in competing with the DEEBOT N79s, a similar priced robot vacuum that also includes Wi-Fi connectivity.
INCLUDED WITH THE Eufy RoboVac 11+: remote control (2 AAA batteries included), charging base, AC power adapter, cleaning tool, extra set of high-performance filters, extra set of side brushes, & 12-month warranty.
So what advantages does the RoboVac have over the DEEBOT?
What are the folks at Eufy doing to keep this robot vacuum relevant in the midst of this competition?
The RoboVac 11+ has the regular tools you would expect for effective robot vacuuming.
It uses a 6.5″ main roller brush in combination with two spinning side brushes to pick up particles and pet hair.
It has a slight edge over the DEEBOT models in cleaning performance.
For suction it uses what Eufy calls BoostIQ™ Technology. Vacuum power increases when and where it’s needed.
If light cleaning is all that’s necessary, the suction and noise level remain low, limiting the distraction in your home.
When the RoboVac 11+ detects heavier dirt or thicker carpet it cranks up the suction along with the noise.
The two main advantages the RoboVac 11+ has over the DEEBOT is quieter operation and the ability to work a little bit better on medium carpets.
Eufy has added larger wheels and a wider, redesigned main brush for this purpose.

While the DEEBOT can be inconsistent with cleaning, the RoboVac 11+ excels, making the transition between bare floors and carpets a breeze.
The main Double V roller brush is simple to remove with release tabs. The side brushes just snap off when they need to be replaced. It’s also good practice to wipe off the drop sensors and charging pins regularly.
The dustbin uses a foam and HEPA-style filter to keep tiny particles and allergens from recycling back into the air in your home. The dustbin pops off with a simple push of a button.
The filter door also has a button to easily remove the filters to clean or replace. At 600 ml (20 ounces) dustbin is twice the size of the DEEBOT dustbins.
Along with a redesigned roller brush, the RoboVac 11+ received a new pressure sensitive front bumper.
This bumper joins 11 infrared sensors, like cliff and obstacle avoidance sensor. They help the RoboVac navigate around and under obstacles safely while cleaning.
It does a really good job of rolling right up to walls and other objects and, just when you think it’s going to bump into them, turn and move in another direction.
The RoboVac 11+ has four standard cleaning modes as well as manual controls on the remote.
These include Auto, Edge, Spot, and Room. There’s also a Auto button on top of the RoboVac 11+ and a Max button on the remote for increased suction power.
Most of the comments you’ll see in reviews rave about how quiet and effective this bot is. However they also mentioned that they often leave Max mode on most of the time for the best results.
The RoboVac 11+ has good battery life at around 100 minutes. But on Max power the run time drops closer to an hour.
Users often mention that they don’t use Edge or Spot modes much. The Auto cleaning mode seems to cover it all.

The remote control has buttons for all four cleaning modes along with manual steering buttons.
There’s also a nice LCD screen for setting cleaning times, although the RoboVac 11+ cannot be programmed to clean at different times each day.
It has a return to base button on the remote control and the device does a decent job of making it back to the base to recharge.
If you don’t mind using a remote and just want a quiet helper that can effectively keep your floors free of pet hair, dust, and debris, the RoboVac 11+ should be on your short list.

The double v roller brush does a solid job of picking up pet hair and the size of the dustbin means it can run the full charge of the battery without always needing attention, giving you enough silence to enjoy a good book on the couch.
